FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Wednesday starts warm and muggy with morning low temperatures in the upper 60s. As heat and humidity persist through the morning and afternoon, a front will move in from the northwest, sparking the chance for possible showers and thunderstorms. Skies will be otherwise partly cloudy as highs reach the upper 80s, making for a very hot end to the summer season.

Fall officially arrives on the calendar Thursday and the weather will definitely feel fall-like. The Wednesday front bringing chance for showers will also bring cooler, drier air that will settle in for several days to come. Overnight lows will reach the mid 50s under mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance for a few stray showers. Thursday and Friday will only see highs in the mid 60s as mostly sunny skies return to the forecast.

Have a great Wednesday!
