Carroll entering ‘22-23 season with deeper ‘why’
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The Carroll Chargers are gearing up for a ‘22-23 season with a motivation that goes beyond the gridiron.
The Chargers are dedicating this season to Owen Scheele, who passed away in June after battling cancer battle. Owen underwent surgery to address cranial pressure, but his prognosis was not encouraging.
Carroll finished last season with a 8-1 season in the SAC and believe they can experience similar success this time around.
The Chargers open their season taking on Bishop Luers on August 19th.
