Fort Wayne FC concludes season with, 3-0, shutout win over Cleveland

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - On Saturday, Fort Wayne FC concluded their season with a, 3-0, shutout win over Cleveland at Shields Field.
Fort Wayne FC’s playoff aspirations were hanging in the balance, as Fort Wayne needed a win coupled with a South Bend loss in order to clinch a playoff berth.
Fort Wayne handled its side of the equation, while South Bend squandered Fort Wayne’s playoff dreams with a, 8-0, victory over Dayton.
Ultimately, the men in blue would finish third in the Valley Division, coming up three points shy of the playoffs.
This year marked as a significant turnaround season for the club, after going through growing pains a season ago.
