FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Storms rolled through northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio early this Tuesday morning, bringing soaking rain, widespread lightning, and periods of gusty winds. As those storms wind down through mid-morning, a warm front will usher in a hot and humid afternoon with dew points on the rise. Highs will reach the mid 90s but conditions will feel more like 105 to 110 with all the humidity. Skies will clear some though the day, and that clearing combined with heat and humidity will be a key factor with possible storm redevelopment tonight.

There is a chance for some evening thunderstorms fueled by the excessive heat and humidity. The chance for storms remains conditions, based on clearing skies and available energy throughout the afternoon and early evening. Stay with Fort Wayne’s NBC through the day for the latest.

Have a great Tuesday!
