FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - After a hot trend this past week, a mild trend is in store this weekend. Highs over the weekend will sit in the upper 70s and lower 80s across the region with mostly sunny skies. A quiet and dry pattern will settle in.
Hot weather returns to the forecast during the workweek, with nearly every day of the week with highs hitting 90 degrees. A First Alert Weather Day has been issued for Tuesday for high heat in the forecast. High temperatures are expected to reach the upper 90s with heat indices passing 100.
The dry heat will make gardeners and farmers spend more attention on plants this next week. Our next chance for some rain will come by Wednesday.
