FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Beginning Monday, June 27, the City of Fort Wayne will assist residents with the cleanup of tree debris in the hardest hit areas, focusing on the Waynedale and Aboite areas.

The City says crews will make one pass through the affected areas and ask residents to have tree debris set out at the curb. The City says they are waiting until the 27th to help with the cleanup to give utility crews time to repair and remove damaged and downed power lines.

The City is encouraging residents to continue to use the established drop-off sites if they can.

Maps of the targeted areas in Waynedale and Aboite are posted on the City’s website.
