2021 QUADRUPLE HOMICIDE: A jury selected for murder trial
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Jury selection took place Tuesday for the Fort Wayne man accused of killing a woman and her three children in 2021.
Cohen Hancz-Barron is charged with four counts of murder that happened back in June of 2021.
Almost a year ago now, 26-year-old Sarah Zent and her children 5-year-old Carter, 3-year-old Ashton, and 2-year-old Aubree died in that brutal knife attack in their Gay Street home.
By around 2 p.m. Tuesday, the court was on its third round of jury selection and by 4:30 p.m. the court has secured a full jury. When choosing the jurors, the prosecutors and defense were looking if the candidates could be open-minded, and present a fair and impartial verdict.
Opening arguments are set to begin Wednesday. Stay with Fort Wayne’s NBC News as we will have a crew in the courtroom gathering the latest information on this trial.
