FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - A few showers and storms are expected to move through the region tonight as a large weather system moves to the east. The greatest severe risk for any storms today will remain in the western half of the Hoosier state, but we’ll be watching to see if any storms maintain strength moving into our area later on. Stay up to date with the latest weather information here on our website and on Facebook if anything severe develops.

Shower and storm chances ease off going into Sunday morning, with a quieter end to the weekend in store. Highs for Sunday will top off in the 60s in most spots. The majority of the week will be spent in the 60s and near 70 as highs. Our next big weather system is set to arrive on Tuesday, brining rain and possibly a few thunderstorms.

Tonight: Cloudy with periods of showers and storms; Low: 57

Sunday: Partly cloudy, breezy at times; High: 67
