FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - After a beautiful start to the weekend with sunshine and mid 80s, another chance at hitting 80 is on the way for Sunday. Overnight we’ll stay fairly mild with lows in the mid 60s with some wind gusts ranging up to 20-25 mph. Even windier conditions are on the way for Sunday as showers pop into the forecast later on.

Sunday will start out dry and sunny before clouds roll in by midday. Winds will pick up throughout the day, clocking in up to 35 to 40 mph at times. The best chance for any showers or storms will be after dinner. A few storms could get rather gusty, so be sure to take any loose outdoor items inside before then.

Some rain will linger into the Monday morning forecast before drying out by the afternoon. The rest of this week will sit in the 50s and 60s as highs.
