ADAMS COUNTY, Ind. (FORT WAYNE’S NBC) - Three Decatur residents are in the Adams County Jail Monday after a six month drug investigation. The three are accused of selling prescription drugs, counterfeit Oxycodone and Fentanyl pills.

Raymond Guerra and Tammy Betz were both charged with two counts of dealing in a narcotic drug. Cecelia Silva of rural Decatur was charged with three counts of dealing in a narcotic drug, all of the charges are felonies, the Adams County Sheriff said. The investigation included area law enforcement, DEA and ATF agencies.

According to the Adams County Sheriff’s office, counterfeit Fentanyl pills are more lethal than ever with four out of 10 of the pills containing a potential lethal dose.

Residents in Adams County that know of illegal drug activity are asked to call the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
