FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Police say freezing rain Monday morning has caused several crashes across The Fort.

Officers were called to the I-469 ramp at I-69 south by the GM plant on reports of a crash. They say a semi that was carrying salt was trying to go from I-469 to I-69 and slid off the ramp, rolling over. No injuries were reported in that crash.

Troopers said they had I-69 closed for a time as crews salted the road but has since reopened.

Police are urging drivers to use caution as they have responded to several crashes Monday morning due to the slick roads.
