FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Friday starts mild with temperatures in the low 30s under mostly cloudy skies. As cloudy persist through the day, temperatures will remain steady in the low 30s. There is a slight chance for a few stray flurries through the afternoon but no accumulation is expected, just the chance to see a few flakes in the sky into the early evening. Cold air will shift in overnight as lows fall to the teens into early Saturday morning.

Much of the country will be impacted by a winter storm this weekend but we will remain unaffected here in northeast Indiana or northwest Ohio. As the weekend goes on skies will clear with partly cloudy skies set for Saturday and mostly sunny skies set for Sunday. Highs will dip to the mid 20s Saturday and the low 30s Sunday before clouds return next work week.

Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!
