Ball State falls to Georgia State, 51-20, in Camellia Bowl

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Ball State concluded their 2021 season campaign with a 6-7 overall record, after losing to Georgia State, 51-20, in the Camellia Bowl on Christmas Day.

Drew Plitt connected with Jayshon Jackson for a 56-yard touchdown, resulting in a 7-0 early lead, but the Panthers would run away with game from there on out. Ball State participated in it’s second consecutive bowl game for the first time since the 2012-13 season.
