Arrest made in shooting on W. Washington Center Road

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - An arrest has been made in connection to a shooting that left two injured in a mobile home earlier this month.

According to Fort Wayne police, 53-year-old Fatir Muhammad faces two counts of attempted murder and one count of burglary with bodily injury.

On the morning of December 14, Officers responded to 2737 W Washington Center Rd, at the Ridgebrook Village Park and Valley Hills West mobile home park

Police say a caller told them her ex-boyfriend was shooting people in a trailer. Officers found two victims, one man that had non-life-threatening injuries and a woman with life-threatening injuries.

Police say Muhammad was taken into custody early Sunday morning without incident.

Muhammad had been named a person of interest by Fort Wayne police not long after the shooting happened.
