FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - A Fort Wayne man charged with attempted murder will be in court tomorrow.

21-year-old Gage Workman will be in for his initial hearing, facing charges of attempted murder, aggravated battery, and use of a firearm.

Court documents say on Nov. 7, a woman showed up at a Fort Wayne hospital in life-threatening condition, suffering from multiple bullet wounds. She later told police she was visiting a friend at Blackhawk Apartments and while there, Workman became mad after he could not find the cube to his phone charger and the two got in an argument.

The victim said she left the apartment and noticed that her car was being followed in the area of State Blvd. and Beacon St. She said as she was getting ready to make a turn, Workman pulled up beside her and began shooting.

The woman was then able to drive herself to the hospital for treatment.
