Notre Dame new head football coach Freeman celebrates promotion with the Irish
NOTRE DAME, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Notre Dame’s newest head football coach Marcus Freeman was re-introduced to his players, as the leader of the Fighting Irish to a rousing celebration, on Friday morning.
The announcement of Freeman’s promotion to head coach continues to be applauded by both former and current Notre Dame football players.
The 35-year-old former Notre Dame defensive coordinator will retain offensive coordinator Tommy Rees on his staff, as announced by Rees to the team on Wednesday night.
