FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Fort Wayne’s NBC is a proud partner of Coats for Kids again this season! This program run through the Volunteer Center helps distribute thousands of winter coats every year to children in need.

You can help keep an area kid warm this year by donating new or gently used winter coats OR by simply gifting $25 (which will cover the cost of a new winter coat, hat, scarf, and mittens for one kid). This year the program is desperately looking for men’s winter coats in the small and medium size range.

Be on the lookout for coat donation drop-offs in these participating locations:

- Volunteer Center

-Peerless Cleaners

-YMCA locations in Allen, Wells, and Huntington counties

-Darlington Holiday Warehouse

-Parkview Ortho Hospital
