Homestead celebrates first state title in school history with victory parade

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - The Homestead Spartans celebrated the girls first soccer state championship with a victory parade at school.

The Spartans capped off their magical season unbeaten at 22-0, as they took down Carmel, 2-1, in a rematch of the 2018 state title match.

Homestead played lights-out all season, scoring over a hundred goals, while only surrendering 11 to opponents.
