FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Last week made for a very cold start to November with high temperatures struggling to reach the upper 40s and low 50s. Things will be much warmer this week as we start Monday morning off in the low-to-mid 40s and are set to see highs reach the mid-to-upper 60s! Some areas south of Fort Wayne could creep close to the 70 degree mark by late afternoon under mostly sunny skies. Winds will be a bit gusty at times as clouds increase into the evening.

Overnight lows will fall to the mid 40s under partly cloudy skies as warmer air shifts in from the southwest to keep temperatures above average through much of this work week. A strong center of high pressure will keep rain out of the forecast until late Thursday when a cold front is set to bring widespread rain and colder weather back to the Hoosier state.

Have a great Monday!
