FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - For decades, Bandidos has been a staple in Fort Wayne food culture. This week, for the first time, the classic Mexican restaurant is our “Focused on the Fork” feature.

Bandidos prioritizes having a pristine environment, using the freshest of ingredients and giving customers a lot of bang for their buck.

If it’s been awhile you’ve visited Bandidos, owner Jimmie Schindler wants you to know that things may have changed since your last stop.

“When I bought the business with my wife back in 2013 we made a lot of changes to the food quality. We’re hand cutting our produce, we’re shredding cheese from blocks, we’re slow cooking meats, we have a build your own menu which is fantastic,” says Schindler.

“We’ve increased the portions, we’ve really upped our game.”

Generously sized margaritas, a secret-spiced mesquite sauce, and house made guacamole are just a few other delicious items you can count on at Bandidos.
