Woman arrested after stabbing man in neck
LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) — A woman was arrested after police say she stabbed a man in the neck early Friday morning.
LaGrange County police said that on Friday, July 13 around 3:17 a.m., officers received a call in reference to a domestic disturbance where a male subject had been stabbed.
When officers arrived, they found a male suffering from a stab wound to his neck.
Police investigation showed that the man sustained a single puncture wound to the lower neck/upper chest area and a laceration on his right chest area. They say a sharp edged weapon was used in the attack.
The man was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and later released.
Officers arrested 34-year-old Kayla L. Honyoust and charged her with aggravated battery, a level 3 felony, and invasion of privacy, a class A misdemeanor.
