Last day to vote for local student's work in Doodle 4 Google contest
(Fort Wayne’s NBC) — A Fort Wayne student is getting recognized for her artwork in a national Google contest.
9-year-old Athena Rodriguez is the state winner for the annual Doodle 4 Google contest, but she needs help in the form of votes to continue on.
Doodle 4 Google is a contest where students create drawings of what inspires them, and doodles are judged based on artistic merit, creativity, and theme communication.
Rodriguez, a student at Prince Chapman Academy, is one of only ten finalists in the nation.
You can vote for Rodriguez here under the Indiana entry, and voting is open until 3 a.m. on Friday, May 18.
