5-month-old rushed to hospital in critical condition
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) -- Fort Wayne police are investigating after finding a baby unresponsive and not breathing at about 1 p.m.
Police tell Fort Wayne's NBC a 5-month-old child was found in an upstairs apartment at the intersection of Calhoun and Creighton Streets.
Police say the child was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, and sources tell us surgery began almost immediately once the child arrived there.
There is no word yet on whether foul play is involved, and police have not released whether the child is a boy or girl.
