Victim in Oxford Street shooting identified; police still searching for answers

FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- (Fort Wayne's NBC News) Officials have identified the man killed in a shooting on Dec. 23 on Fort Wayne's southeast side.
Fort Wayne Police responded to the 1500 block of Oxford Street around 3:20 Saturday morning where they found two men in a home. One man, 18-year-old Delonte Corvon Walker-Ross was found suffering from gunshot wounds. Walker Ross died at the scene. The other was taken to the hospital in serious condition but later downgraded to critical.
Walker-Ross' death marks the 40th homicide in Allen County this year.
