Two dead, one in critical condition after shooting on Fort Wayne's south side Thursday
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) -- Two women were shot and killed on Fort Wayne's south side and another critically wounded Thursday morning.
Police responded to the 200 block of East Sherwood Terrace just after 4 a.m. Thursday.
They say three women were found in the front yard of a home suffering from multiple gunshots.
Nicole Marie Saylor, 36, died at the scene. The other two were taken to the hospital in critical condition, but Kayla Marie Harris, 24, died at the hospital.
A family member of one of the victims started a GoFundMe account to help pay for medical costs.
Police are working on gathering information on any possible suspects. The relationship between the three females is currently unknown, as is their relationship to the house where they were found.
Their deaths mark the 32nd and 33rd homicides in Allen County this year.
