EAST HAMPTON, Conn. -- (Fort Wayne's NBC News) -It's a Halloween attraction good for kids and those of us who are just kids at heart.

Pumpkintown U.S.A. - Connecticut's premiere non-scary fall destination is open!

It's a favorite fall destination in East Hampton with a small pumpkin patch called "Paul's and Sandy's too."

The attraction opened in 1990 with just two pumpkin heads - Leroy Butternut and Penelope Parton.

Each year, the population grew and in 1993, when the population reached 38, business owners Paul and Sandy created "Pumpkintown."

Each pumpkin head is painted by hand each year.

Pumpkintown U.S.A. includes a fast food restaurant called Mac Pumpkins, a saloon, a jail, a church, and of course, a farm.
