DENVER, Co., -- (Fort Wayne's NBC News) Staff at a Denver zoo welcomed the birth of two male red-panda cubs Aug. 27.

While the brothers won't be visible to the public for another few weeks, the zoo's animal care staff shared video of one of their regular exams to check the weight, temperature, and overall wellness of the month-old cubs.

Red Pandas are native to Asia and have distinct red and off-white markings with large puffy tails and pointed ears.

They are listed as an endangered species.
