Fort Wayne native Kent Hormann began his broadcasting career in 1978 with WFFT.
A graduate of Heritage High School and Ball State University, Kent joined WFFT as one of the 12 people hired by the station after it signed on in December of 1977.
Kent Joined WKJG in June of 1981 and spent 21 years with the station as a videographer, sports anchor and sports director.
Among his career highs are anchoring the live play-by-play broadcast of the Fort Wayne Komets Turner Cup - clinching victory during the 1993 season and the play-by-play of the very first Wizards (now called the TinCaps) baseball game in Fort Wayne in 1993.
